Wow! That was a great weekend that we just had, and I hope that yours was great too.
The day is going smoothly here, and it looks like another amazing week ahead.
I remember you and I having a quick talk about God. You mentioned that you had questions. You can always come to me with questions, and I’ll answer them to the best of my ability. You can also pick up a copy of the Bible if you don’t already have one and we can discuss various scriptures.
I can tell you this, my life has radically changed since I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
You will find those who claim to believe in God, but are clearly not acting in a way God approves of. These are people we call hypocrites. They do not live by Godly standards. I have a simple saying, “If you truly believe in God….act like it!”
Beware of those who pretend to be virtuous as there are some who are using their false spirituality to manipulate others. These are essentially wolves in sheep’s clothing.
“So, you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.” (Matthew 23:27-28)”
Religious hypocrisy is basically deception/dishonesty. It is important to understand this, especially for those new to the faith.
