How are things going there today? I hope that all is well and that you’re having a great day and that you had an amazing weekend!
The weather is changing here and the rain just won’t seem to let up. I don’t mind the rain though, because in reality, we certainly can’t live without it on this planet. When it rains too much though, we end up getting too much of a good thing and their areas near here that actually flood. I remember some years that the flooding was so bad in some areas, that you could drive by some neighborhoods and only see the rooftops of houses, because everything else was underwater.
I used to let the rain keep me from going hiking. Now I have a full rain suit that is so watertight that I can hike in a torrential downpour and remain dry. As you already know, I enjoy being outdoors and won’t let a little rain, snow or anything else keep me from enjoying the outdoors. Like all things in life though, this boiled down to a matter of being properly prepared. If there’s something that you want to do in life, replace excuses with a plan of action and the discipline to follow through on your plan of action. As the saying goes, “you can make progress or you can make excuses, but you can’t make both”.
