How Are You Today Son,
I certainly hope that all is well with you and that you had a great weekend and that you will have a wonderful week ahead of you.
I’m just getting my day started and having my first cup of coffee. As usual, there is much to be accomplished this day and I’m anxious to get started. It’s always nice to be able to check things off of your to do list isn’t it? After all, tasks don’t typically complete themselves. Everything that we put off until tomorrow simply grows our to do list larger and larger.
It’s funny, isn’t it? You can create a list of things to be done and spend a lot of time making sure you’ve written down every detail of those things that need to be done. Unfortunately, the to do list itself will not help you to accomplish your goals. Unless you take action and complete the tasks on the to do list, that list gets transformed from a to do list into a list of things you did not accomplish. I, for one, have been guilty of creating many, many such ineffective lists.
So how to get around having our to do list turn into a list of things we did not accomplish? One easy way to do it is to set a time when each task is to be completed. Having a deadline helps to create a sense of urgency and will help you get much more accomplished than you ever thought possible.
Well, that’s all for now!
Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Dad
