Happy Monday Son,
I’m excited to start another amazing week, are you? Things are groovy here and I certainly hope that they are great for you as well.
I’m having a morning cup of coffee. I smile when I think about it, because I remember your reaction to my coffee drinking in the past. I guess I must’ve really been hyper and bouncing off the walls when I drink caffeinated coffee. These days, it’s decaf coffee and that should help to keep my level of hyperness to a somewhat less elevated state!
In reality though, I really do like being energized and having a high level of energy. It seems that much of what I hear people complain about these days is how tired they are. Don’t worry, I’m not standing on a soapbox in an attempt to tell those types of people the error of their ways. I’ve been there to and from my experience, proclaiming that you are tired ends up in your being tired becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.
How we phrase things and we speak to ourselves internally makes a huge difference in how we will feel about ourselves in the present and future. For instance, there’s a big difference between saying, “I’m tired”, and saying, “I feel more tired today than I usually do”. What you claim is what you become. If you claim that “I’m tired” then you will become tired. If you claim that you “feel tired”, then you may feel tired in the present, but you realize that “feeling” is not a permanent state, but “being” is a permanent state.
Well, that’s all for now!
Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Dad
