Happy Monday to you! I trust you had an enjoyable weekend.
As always, I hope that all is well with you. I also hope that you are having a great year.
For me, this year has been nothing short of amazing. I have been very fortunate and blessed to have many amazing years in my life. This year in particular, I have achieved a level of joy, peace, calm, serenity, tranquility, love, etc. that is so great it has been overwhelming.
Off the top of my head, if I tried to explain to you how this came about, it would be difficult. One thing I would say that never seems to fail me is doing the right thing. It’s not just doing the right thing that counts, but doing the right thing regardless of the circumstances and the consequences.
I know it’s easy to say, “do the right thing”. The first thing, of course, is knowing what the right thing is and then taking action based on that knowledge. Let’s look at an example. Deep down inside we should all know that lying is wrong. I find that interesting since even though deep down inside everyone knows that lying is wrong, many people still lie, and do so with regularity. From this example it is clear that simply knowing the difference between right and wrong is not enough.
For now, let’s continue this discussion at a later date.
