How are things going today? I hope that all is well with you and that you are anticipating another great week ahead. How was your weekend? It was another great weekend here and I hope that yours was great as well.
So you may be wondering to yourself, why does my Dad continue to write me letters every week when I don’t respond? To the casual observer such actions probably wouldn’t make much sense. After all, why would a father continue to reach out to his son when the son does not reach out to him? The answer is simple. Love! I reach out to you because I love you. I want you to know that you are important to me and that I never have and never will abandon you or give up on you.
People often times get confused when it comes to love. Often conditions are placed on love. One such condition is that love must be mutual. In other words, a person will love another person as long as the other person loves them back. One important lesson about love that took me a long time to understand is that “love is not barter”. Unconditional love is just that, unconditional.
