My Letters To My Son

Happy Magnificent Monday Son

February 26, 2024 By Dad

Happy Magnificent Monday Son,

Another amazing week has begun! How do I know that? Because I have already set the tone for the week ahead. The plan is to have an amazing week and now all that is left is to execute the plan!

Having an amazing day, week, month, or year is something we can all do. Of course, the very first thing we must do is to define what an “amazing day” is for us. After all, we must define the goal/target if we are to reach it.

Some people might say that their day will be amazing if they win the lottery or if they meet the love of their life. I would venture to say that just about everyone’s day would be amazing if those things happened. Realistically, though, how likely is it that any of us will win the lottery on any given day? The odds of winning the Powerball Lottery is roughly 1 to 300 million! Personally, I would rather not have my chances of having an amazing day be 1 in 300 million!

To me, leaving your potentially amazing day to chance is just basically hoping that you have an amazing day. Keep in mind that it is not simply a matter of what the day brings to you, but what you bring to the day.

So, let’s get personal. How do I know that today is going to be an amazing day? I know today is going to be an amazing day because I was blessed to wake up this morning knowing that God loves me and has my best interest at heart. I woke up pain free and enthusiastic about the day ahead. I woke up with love in my heart and the desire to lift up everyone I come into contact with. I woke up focused on the abundance I have been blessed with and not focused with those things I do not have.

How about you? Are you having an amazing day? What would you say makes this day amazing to you?

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
