My Letters To My Son

How Are You Today Son

January 19, 2026 By Dad

How Are You Today Son,

The week here is already off to an amazing start and I hope that yours is too!

I was watching a video the other day Where an entrepreneur was explaining some of his methods. He stated that he wore a blue shirt, in fact the blue T-shirt every single day. That struck me as odd. I thought to myself why would anybody wear the same color T-shirt every single day.

I remember hearing that Albert Einstein basically wore the same thing every day. It was said that he had a closet full of identical outfits. This seemed very similar to what the entrepreneur was doing.

The entrepreneur went on to explain that he doesn’t have to make a decision about what to wear each and every day. He has found something that works for him by having many of the same outfit.

In a way those methods make no sense to someone on the outside looking in. If we take a moment though, and think about it, it could make sense. What the entrepreneur has done is eliminated having to make a decision about what to wear. He basically put the decision of what to wear on autopilot and he doesn’t have to think about it each day.

Basically, the entrepreneur is taking a step towards eliminating or at the very least minimizing decision fatigue. Decision fatigue is the mental, emotional, and cognitive exhaustion resulting from making a high volume of decisions, leading to a decline in decision quality.

What do you think of the entrepreneur’s choice to wear the same outfit every day? Is this something you could imagine yourself doing?

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
