My Letters To My Son

Dad

How Are You Today Son

July 26, 2021 By Dad

How Are You Today Son,

Well, it looks as if we have another great week ahead of us! I know I don’t have to ask if you are ready for the week, because I already know you are more than ready for the week ahead!

There’s a quote that I had to share with you; Here it is below:

“Never apologize, mister, it’s a sign of weakness.” – John Wayne

Interesting right? The quote was from a movie John Wayne starred in way back in 1949.

Personally, I do not know whether the quote was a reflection of how John Wayne really felt, but it seems to have gained traction as a mantra of the unapologetic.

First, let’s check out the definition of the word, “apology”. Merriam-Webster defines apology as, “an admission of error or discourtesy accompanied by an expression of regret.”

Let’s pick up on this topic next week as it is both interesting and important.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
