My Letters To My Son

Dad

Bonjour Son

May 11, 2020 By Dad Leave a Comment

It’s very exciting to see that we have yet another amazing week ahead of us!

I recently called to check on you during the coronavirus pandemic to make sure that you were okay. I called your mom’s number, but unfortunately just got your mom’s voicemail and didn’t ever hear back from her. Fortunately, I was able to contact your uncle and he was pleasant and cooperative as usual. He was kind enough to let me know that you were doing well and that definitely set my mind at ease.

Naturally, I hope that you’re taking care of yourself and being safe. One important component of being safe is just staying the heck away from people. I have noticed on far too many occasions that there were people wearing no gloves and no masks while in public places like grocery stores. My sweetheart and I were in a Target store just the other day and noticed a good number of people with no masks and no gloves. They were just walking around as if we weren’t in the middle of a crisis.

I feel certain that you are wearing a mask and gloves when you go out into the public. The truth is, you’re just too smart to not take the necessary precautions to protect yourself from the many careless people you may encounter during this pandemic.

We have to all keep in mind that when we keep ourselves safe, we also keep those that we care about safe.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
