Howdy Son,
Well, here we are at the start of another week in our “new normal”. Of course, when I speak of our “new normal”, I’m speaking about our life within the framework of a pandemic.
I hope that all is well with you and that you are taking precautions to protect yourself and those you care about.
I had an interesting experience the other day when I went to the grocery store. I was selecting some items from a shelf when I noticed a lady with a face mask that was not covering her nose and mouth, but was tucked underneath her chin. That seemed odd to me as I wasn’t aware that the chin was a potential entry point for viral infection.
I noticed the lady getting closer and closer to me to the point that she was coming close to touching me. Believe it or not, I had to tell this lady that I need more space to get her to back away from me to create more space between us.
There are many lessons about human nature to be learned during our ‘new normal”. One big takeaway is that many people are not paying attention and are careless. I’m not sure of the thought processes these careless people have. One thing is for certain and that’s that we have to shield ourselves from their negligence for our own well-being.
Be safe out there.
Well, that’s all for now!
Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Dad
