Well, here we are at the start of yet another amazing week ahead!
Is it just me or does this year seem to be starting off pretty fast? After all, in less than a month it will officially be Springtime!
I can hardly believe that Valentine’s Day has already passed. My Valentine’s Day was amazing as I shared it with the love of my life. Did you enjoy your Valentine’s Day? I’m just curious as to if you have someone special in your life to share that with. If so, that’s great! If not, take it from your dear old Dad who is approximately three times your age. No matter what anyone tells you, there is no rush. Love, just like life, is a marathon and not a sprint. Love is more a journey to be enjoyed than a destination to be reached!
I would never claim to be an expert on love, but if you asked me for some sagely advice on love, I would have a little something to say. I would tell you to write down the attributes of the perfect woman for you. At the outset this may sound too, “clinical”, but this is an exercise that has served me and many others well.
Writing down the attributes of the perfect woman for you helps you to stay focused on what you really want in a mate. It also helps you to, “choose”, rather than, “be chosen”. It’s easy to let an pretty woman who is strongly attracted to you to quickly become a part of your life. Her becoming a part of your life was initially her choice, not yours. You have to ask yourself if she possesses the qualities in a woman that you consider an absolute must. Remember, who a person is on the outside will never be as important as who that person is on the inside.
