Well, another weekend has passed and another great week begins!
How are things with you? Naturally, I hope that all is well.
What’s new here is that we have been having crazy weather, mostly because of the rain and flooding. The levels of the rivers around here have been rising to near record levels and the flooding has caused many to have to evacuate their homes.
The flooding is in areas around us, but fortunately, we are far from being underwater here. Flooding definitely creates a different type of disaster scenario. With a tornado, some of the homes in the affected area get damaged, with flooding, all the homes in the affected area get damaged.
You would be amazed if you saw how much the rivers have expanded during the flood. It is truly something to behold. It’s humbling really, to think that with all the technology and advances that man has made over the ages, that there are still things beyond our control.
