Buongiorno Son,
Okay, so I’m sitting here in front of the computer writing you with a big smile on my face. The smile is not only because I love you, but because I’ve been granted the gift of yet another amazing day!
I imagine that sometimes when I tell people that it’s going to be another amazing day, that they wonder how I know in advance that it’s going to be an amazing day. You may have heard the saying from some people, “every day above ground is a good day!”. Although that may be a bit morbid sounding, it is also true.
Okay, now back to the, “amazing day”. I already know in advance that each day will be an amazing day because of the simple fact that there is no such thing as a day that could not be much worse. If we stop and think about it, any and every day could be much, much worse. In short, we would be smart to focus on and appreciate the day as it stands and work to make it better.
I would challenge you or anyone else to find a day in your life that couldn’t have been worse. There may even be times when we describe a day where, “everything went wrong”. Believe me, even though some days may not live up to our expectations, those days are certainly not days where, “everything went wrong”.
