Happy Monday Son,
Did you have a cool weekend! I certainly hope so. My weekend was great, especially as the weather was beautiful here and I had a chance to hang out outside.
When I was hiking this past weekend with a friend, I saw something I hadn’t seen in a long time…. an owl! How rare is that! I can’t remember the last time I saw an owl on any of my hikes. Aren’t owls normally nocturnal creatures? Anyway, it was an unexpected treat to just be walking along and to see an owl sitting on a branch looking back at me. OK, as you can tell, it doesn’t take much to entertain your Dad. I guess that sometimes the simple pleasures in life are the best.
