My Letters To My Son

Dad

Hello Son

October 24, 2016 By Dad Leave a Comment

Hello Son,

I hope that all is well with you and that you have a wonderful week ahead of you.

I saw a quote that looked interesting to me, so I thought I’d share it with you.

“A diamond is a chuck of coal that did well under pressure” – Henry Kissinger

In life, it is not a question of “if” we will be under pressure at some point in time, but “when”. Pressure, whether self-imposed or not, is something that we all have to deal with.

I love that quote by Henry Kissinger because it speaks of a choice to use pressure to become something greater, rather than allowing pressure to crush us. Adversity builds character and strength, which in turn prepares us to better handle the future inevitable adversities, pressures, and life challenges.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day!

Love,

Dad
