My Letters To My Son

Dad

Good Morning Son

February 22, 2016 By Dad Leave a Comment

Good Morning Son,

How’s it going? Things are wonderful here and I hope that all is well there as well.

Last week I wanted to open up a conversation about doing the right thing. As I mentioned before, just because people know the difference between right and wrong does not mean that they will do what is right.

At some point in time in everyone’s life we make the wrong choice and even though we know it is wrong, we do the wrong thing anyway. That is to be expected because nobody is perfect.

It is true that it takes courage to do the right thing, but not everyone is courageous. It takes strength to do the right thing, but not everyone is strong. Fortunately, we can become both strong and courageous by consistently doing the right thing regardless of the circumstances. Don’t let how you “feel” about doing the right thing or how others feel about doing the right thing get in the way of taking action and doing what is right.

Remember, that the world is made a better place each and every time you do the right thing.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day!

Love,

Dad
