Hi Son,
How are things there today? As always, I hope that you are healthy, happy, and working to stay that way!
Today was a standard workout day. I’ve been looking to modify somethings as I learn more about the advantages of different types of exercises. Besides, I do like to change things up once in a while to keep from getting burned out or bored with the same routine.
People have a lot to say about working out. Some people like to point out people who were working out and had heart attacks or experienced some other negative occurrence. It’s almost like they want to point fingers and say, “A lot of good exercising did that person.”
Here’s a fact, anything can happen to anyone at any time! Yes, people who take great care of themselves can still have health issues. If that were not the case those people would live forever.
What the naysayers are doing is convincing themselves that they would be better off by not working out and eating right. What they fail to want to realize and/or acknowledge is the vibrant lives lived by those who do take care of themselves.
I can tell you without reservation that living a healthy lifestyle is absolutely, positively, worth it. You may ask me if I’d had health issues. I would tell you a resounding yes. I can also tell you that I have been blessed with vibrant health for the majority of my life. To me, there is no substitute for waking up most every morning without aches and pains. There is no substitute for feeling vibrant and strong and ready for anything life throws at you.
One last and important point is that taking care of yourself enhances your ability to take care of others.
