Hello there, it’s just Dad checking in with you today to see how things are going.
I was chatting with your Grandmother the other day and she was telling me how great it would be to see you. I definitely agreed with her that it would be great to see you as it has been far too long since we’ve had an opportunity to spend time together.
Your Grandmother then went on to say how tall and handsome she knew that you were, and, of course, we both hope that you are living a happy and healthy life.
I told your Grandmother that I felt certain that we would have an opportunity to spend time with you and have an opportunity to enjoy life together going forward.
I do have to admit, part of me is surprised that another part of me is not surprised that you have not contacted your Grandmother during any of the holidays or on her birthday, but I feel certain that you think you have your reasons.
Please keep in mind that doing the right thing can frequently be just plain uncomfortable. Most likely that’s a large part of the reason that many people simply don’t do the right thing. Doing the right thing isn’t about feeling better about yourself, even though it can be. Doing the right thing is more about, “doing good”, and less about “feeling good”.
