How is it going there today? I hope all is well there and that you are looking forward to a great week ahead!
Things are groovy here. I sometimes have to laugh when I use the word “groovy” because I’ve been told that it’s corny and it indicates the era I grew up in. Oh well, sayings come and go, right?
Are you in a relationship now or would you like to be? I have heard that 80% of our happiness is tied to the quality of our relationships. Do you think that is true? Though I have not verified this, I can certainly believe that is accurate.
With so much of our happiness tied to the quality of our relationships, it makes sense to guard your happiness by being selective in your relationships. So, what does that mean exactly? It means that we must be very careful to choose to associate with people who have our best interest at heart.
One of the smartest things we can do is to take our time getting to know someone. Rushing into a relationship, especially a romantic relationship, can be a recipe for disaster.
Son, I am no relationship expert. I have made so many mistakes in judgment that I don’t care to count them. I am fortunate in that I have been blessed with a wonderful relationship with an amazing woman. I certainly hope that you are with or will be with someone with whom you can share your life.
