My Letters To My Son

Letters

Hi Son

January 31, 2022 By Dad

Hi Son,

I hope that you are having a very wonderful day!

The week ahead for me is going to be challenging and exciting at the same time. I’m looking forward to the challenges and the rewards that overcoming the challenges will bring.

Do you like problem-solving/troubleshooting? I do and I don’t. Let me explain what I mean. A computer glitch or issue that keeps me from reaching my goal for the day is irritating. This is a matter of unscheduled, not-necessarily productive problem-solving. It is labeled as not-necessarily productive problem-solving because even when you are done solving the problem, you haven’t really gotten any closer to your goal. I suppose we could say that this is like investing money just to break even.

The type of problem-solving that I do like is the type where something unknown becomes something known. There are few things during my workday that are as satisfying as doing the research to create order out of chaos!

Let’s pick this conversation up at another time.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
