How’s it going there today? I hope that all is well and that you couldn’t wait to wake up and make the absolute most of this day!
I found myself very excited about getting up today and making excellent progress. I even did today’s workout yesterday so that I could get ahead of the curve. I am always amazed how something so simple as getting slightly ahead of the curve can make you feel so refreshed.
So, I woke up this morning ready to seize the day. Then, I had an issue with some software. Then I realized I had contacted the developer about this issue, and it took them a really long time to get back to me. I also realized that another tech support message I sent them wasn’t even responded to.
OK, so the day didn’t start off as planned as I had to take time to deal with those software issues, but that doesn’t mean that the day can’t still be great. The only way a day can lose it’s potential to be amazing is if you stop believing that it can be amazing!
So what now? Now I will continue on with the day and move forward in other areas as planned. With regard to the software that isn’t working as it should and the developer’s slow response times, I will give them time to resolve the issues while simultaneously looking for a more reliable alternative.
Currently, the misfunctioning software is like a weed in my garden. Left unchecked, the weeds will take over the garden. At that point, I could find myself spending most of my day destroying weeds rather than cultivating my crop.
