I hope that all is well with you. By the way, how was your weekend?
My weekend was great, except that I attended a funeral. I hear so many people tell me how they don’t like to go to funerals. That makes complete sense to me as funerals are typically sad occasions.
In reality, attending a funeral isn’t really about how you feel or how you don’t feel. Attending a funeral is about supporting those in the initial stages of their grieving process. Being of service to friends, family, or acquaintances during such times helps them in dealing with the loss of a loved one. After all, what type of people would we be if we could not deal with some inconvenience or discomfort in order to be of service to others.
