Well, that was another wonderful weekend! I hope that yours was great too!
I wanted to share another quote with you today:
“Life isn’t fair, get used to it” – This quote is typically attributed to Bill Gates, but was originally coined by Charles Sykes.
Now you may be thinking, “Dad, that isn’t an especially” inspirational or motivational quote. You would be right. Although it may not be necessarily inspirational or motivational, it is most certainly true.
As I see it, the quote is designed to adjust your mindset. We should wonder if life is fair or not, for we all understand that it is not.
The fact that life is not fair is something people focus on way too much. If we focus on how unfair life is, we can easily create excuses as to why we haven’t achieved what we want to achieve.
Just because life is not fair does not mean that we cannot accomplish what we set out to accomplish. People overcome unfair situations and circumstances each and every day and we should too.
