Here’s another quote that I found that is not particularly deep, but is does ring true.
“Change happens. It’s one of the great certainties in life. Learn to roll with it” – Anonymous
That quote is interesting to me because I used to always say, “Change is the only constant in the universe”. As it turns out, Heraclitus of Ephesus, an ancient Greek philosopher, stated, “The Only Thing That Is Constant Is Change”.
When you stop and think about it, virtually nothing stays the same in life. Every single day is a new day and with each new day comes new challenges as well as new opportunities.
Since change is going to happen, one way or the other and whether we want it or not, doesn’t it make sense to learn to embrace change? After all, you can either change with the times or be changed by the times!
In reality, it’s best to anticipate and prepare for the changes ahead, rather than wait and rush to react to them.
