My Letters To My Son

How Are You Today Son?

How Are You Today Son?,

I was having a discussion with my sweetheart today. That’s right, my sweetheart! (I am proof positive that you can find true love no matter what your age!)

My sweetheart and I were discussing how to recover when things don’t go as planned. Basically, we were discussing what a person should do after they have failed.

I suppose the first thing that one should do is define what they consider to be success. It’s logical that if a person doesn’t achieve what they consider to be success, then they will feel as if they failed.

Definition: Merriam-Webster defines failure in several ways:

  1. omission of occurrence or performance
  2. a failing to perform a duty or expected action
  3. lack of success
  4. a falling short

There’s more to discuss on this topic and I’d love to get your input. Let’s continue this next week, shall we?

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
