How are things on this most wonderful of days? However things are going I have faith that you will triumph in whatever endeavor you choose to pursue!
I’m starting the week off with a huge smile on my face after another great weekend. This was another amazing weekend spent with my sweetheart. That is a testament to the power of true loving relationships. A Harvard study that spanned over 80 years cited that good relationships were the most important predictor of happiness.
It doesn’t surprise me that good relationships are a major contributing factor to happiness. When I speak of “good relationships”, I’m speaking of close, strong, supportive relationships.
One particularly important thing to keep in mind is to be proactive when it comes to relationships. No, I don’t mean aggressively walking up to people and asking them if they would like to be your friend. I mean proactive, at least initially, in mapping out which type of people you could possibly form empowering relationships with. You can think about creating a list a characteristics that someone should have. For instance, a person who values honesty will more than likely choose other honest people to associate with.
