Happy Monday Son,
Here we go! There’s another week ahead of us waiting for us to make it a great week!
Today, let’s pick up where we left off in our last conversation. We were discussing valuable assets, and we ended with the sentence below:
“Let’s consider a particular rare asset that we are blessed with. That asset is, “time”.”
At some point in our lives, we may have thought that we had all the time in the world to do the things we wanted to do and live the life we wanted to live. This sentiment is especially true the younger a person is. The fact is that none of us know exactly how much time we have left. As mortal beings, we must realize that the clock is ticking.
Let’s say that we value things based upon putting a price on them. We can buy a diamond engagement ring for thousands of dollars. We can buy a yacht for millions of dollars. We can buy a house for thousands of dollars or millions of dollars.
While there is a price that can be placed on the physical items above, what price can you place on time? Well, of all the items we listed above, all of them are in ready supply. You can always buy any of them at any time, right? Can you buy more time? The short answer is, “No”.
Time is a priceless asset. Time is always moving forward, whether we choose to move forward or not. All the money in the world cannot buy back yesterday. With that said, it is vitally important to make the most of every second of today and every day, because once the day is gone… it is gone forever!
Well, that’s all for now!
Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Dad
