How’s it going? I hope that you are safe, healthy, and happy, and that all is well in your world.
How was your weekend? Our weekend was one with tornadoes. 22 or so tornadoes wreaking havoc and killing what is now estimated to be over 100 people!
Tornadoes are no joke. I know firsthand because I have been caught outside during a tornado on several occasions. This weekend, the wind was whipping the trees near the house enough to make us nervous. The trees were swaying back and forth like the flames of a candle in the wind. My sweetheart was more nervous than I was, but fortunately we didn’t ever have the tornado-warning sirens go off. If that were the case, we would have been headed to the basement!
I’ll have to tell you the story about how some friends and I were trying to outrun a tornado when I was younger. Spoiler alert: The building next to where we were was hit by the tornado!
