How are things there today? Are you ready for the week ahead?
How was your birthday? I hope that it was better than you had anticipated!
I find it interesting how some people look forward to their birthdays and others don’t like their birthdays very much. To me, birthdays have always been a fun opportunity to celebrate the life we have been blessed to have.
Do you look forward to your birthdays? When I was your age, I looked forward to my birthday and I still look forward to it to this day. While it is true that some people dread their upcoming birthdays, I never really understood why that was.
Some would say that having a birthday is better than not having a birthday. I suppose what they are saying is that no matter how you feel about your birthday, having a birthday is better than the alternative.
Birthdays, in a way, are just like each New Year. They provide an opportunity to assess and plan where you will go from where you are and how you will get there. I suppose a birthday can be considered an opportunity to celebrate the person that you are becoming, and that’s a good thing!
