My Letters To My Son

Dad

Great Morning Son

April 5, 2021 By Dad

Great Morning Son,

How are things going there today? Things are great here and, like you, I’m looking forward to a wonderful week ahead!

How was your week last week? I hope that it was great I’m at you will have a follow up with another great week.

Fortunately, last week was filled with accomplishment and I moved forward on getting more organized. I want to be organized mentally, physically, and of course, spiritually.

I knew it was way past time for me to get organized more when I couldn’t fit any new clothes into my closets. Now my usual plan would be simply to get a bigger closet or more closets! With that thought in mind, I started wondering how I could turn a spare bedroom into a fully functional closet for my clothes.

In the end, I decided not to create a larger closet, but to reduce the number of clothes I had to fit into my current closets. I’m in the process now of going through those clothes and deciding which ones I should donate to those less fortunate.

Organization is one of those things that you can’t just do one time. As life goes on, we accumulate more and more and at some point some of our older possessions have to go! I suppose it’s as they say, “Out with the old, in with the new”.

The saying, “Out with the old, in with the new”, doesn’t just apply to physical accumulation, it applies to mental and emotional accumulation as well. Our lives are better lived if we replace our old unempowered thoughts and emotions with new encouraging and empowering thoughts and emotions.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
