As always, I hope that all is well with you. I called to say hello on New Year’s Day, but got your mom’s voicemail.
I hope that your holidays were great and that they were more fun and restful than you had anticipated.
Well, now we’re officially in a brand-new year! As much as I love the holidays, I love the start of the New Year. I especially love the start of this new year because last year was really a tough one for people all around the world. I’m hopeful that the start of a new year is also the start of a renewed sense of hope and rebuilding for people the world over.
Just out of curiosity, did you make any New Year’s resolutions? I didn’t make any new New Year’s resolutions this year, but I always have goals along with milestones in mind.
Typically, New Year’s resolutions consist of those things that people either forgot to do, refused to do, or were determined to put off to a later date.
The start of a new year is a great time to rethink and recalibrate as well as reprioritize. It’s always great to think that the new year will be better than the previous year and it’s even better to exercise the discipline and take the action to make absolutely sure the New Year will be better.
