Buenos Días Son,
Once again, I hope that you’re having a wonderful day and that you’re looking forward to an amazing week!
I noticed something the other day when listening to someone speak about how they felt. I basically asked them how they were doing today and their answer was, “I’m tired”.
Believe me, I get the whole “I’m tired” thing. I repeated that to myself in the past and the truth is it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Sure, we all lead busy lives and it seems that we are stressed and rushing from place to place far more often than we should be.
None of us really wants to become more fatigued than we actually are, but planting the “I’m tired” seed in our heads on a daily basis certainly doesn’t help us to be more energetic.
Words have tremendous power and the words we speak to ourselves internally strongly influences how we feel. In turn, how we feel strongly influences what we do.
I’m saying all this to say that I truly believe that none of us should say anything to ourselves or to others about ourselves that is even remotely negative. What if, for instance, when someone ask us how we felt today we said, “I feel energized and more than ready for the day”. In fact, that sounds like a great thing to say to ourselves immediately after waking up in the morning.
Well, that’s all for now!
Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Dad
