Welcome to the first day of yet another amazing week!
I was just wondering if you had a chance to put into practice lifting someone up and elevating their mood and perhaps even making their day. If I know you, I already know the answer is a resounding yes! Well done!
I’m not even sure if I can describe the joy of giving of yourself selflessly in order to be of service to others. One good test of whether or not it’s a good idea to do this is to ask yourself a simple question, and that question is, “Would the world be a better place if everyone acted in this way?”.
Asking yourself the question, “Would the world be a better place if everyone acted in this way?” can serve as an “acid test” for most any action regarding the treatment of others. To see the impact of this we can also reflect upon how the kind acts of others make us feel, especially in our times of deepest need.
The world would, in fact, be a better place if we all did a better job of looking after one another. Think of how much better the lives of our loved ones would be if everyone they came in contact with was kind and respectful.
