My Letters To My Son

Dad

Hi Son

Hi Son,

How’s it going? As always, I hope that you are having a great day and that you are looking forward to a wonderful week ahead.

What’s new with me? Well, for some reason I have really been craving sweets lately. I typically like to stay away from empty calories, but lately I have found myself eating more sweets than usual. Do you ever have cravings like that? Fortunately, my taste for sweets can be satisfied with a small slice of chocolate cake or something similar. The key, of course, is to not overdo it.

Well, that’s enough talk about unhealthy food. By the way, have you learned how to cook? If not, just watch your mother. She’s an excellent cook.

I asked whether or not you knew how to cook because cooking and eating healthy food can really make a difference in the overall quality of your life. When you cook your own food you have direct control of exactly what goes in your body. That doesn’t mean that you can’t eat at restaurants or have the occasional snack, as long as it’s within reason. The logic behind healthy eating is really very simple; if you take care of your body, your body will take care of you.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day!

Love,

Dad
