My Letters To My Son

Letters

Buenos Días Son

August 16, 2021 By Dad

Buenos Días Son,

Well, here we are at the start of another great week!

The weekend was great, and I hope that yours was too. The weather here was perfect for a hike by the river on Sunday. My sweetheart startled me because as we were walking to the trail, she saw a snake. Now, snakes are quite common in the places that we hike, but it’s always a good idea to be cautious because some of them are poisonous. The snake was about 4 ft. long, but fortunately it wasn’t aggressive or poisonous.

I’ll be working on getting more organized this week. It’s amazing how quickly things can get into disarray. When I stop and think about it, I think that I just have too much stuff!

What do I mean by too much stuff? OK, would you consider 50 t-shirts or 60 sweaters to be excessive?

My challenge now is that I need to either get a larger house or get rid of some of my stuff. I decided to start donating things to charity. That seems like a good route to go because it will free up space for me and hopefully be of use to someone who couldn’t afford such things.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
