Happy Monday Son,
How are things going there today? Things are groovy here as I hope they are there.
I was just thinking that when I tell you I’m having an amazing day, it means that I am having an amazing day. That, of course, doesn’t mean that all is right with the world. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a day when absolutely everything was right with the world.
For me, an amazing day is internal. Immediately after I wake up, I thank God for the amazing day ahead. Being grateful for the amazing day ahead sets the tone for my entire day.
My morning routine of thanking God in advance for the amazing day ahead initiates inner peace even when the outside world appears to be in turmoil.
How we interpret and digest what is going on around us determines how we feel and react to what is going on around us.
If the chaos of the world makes one feel hopeless, then that person will have their inner peace diminished. On the other hand, if the chaos of the world makes one feel hopeful, then that person will be empowered and have their inner peace increased.
