My Letters To My Son

Letters

Hi Son

August 10, 2020 By Dad Leave a Comment

How was your weekend? I certainly hope that it was great!

In my last several letters we began to discuss racism, an interesting and definitely important topic. As mentioned in my last letter, “We can continue to discuss racism further if you would like. Please let me know and we will go from there.”

I hope that all is well with you and the family and friends there. I trust that you are staying safe during this unprecedented pandemic. Keep in mind to avoid being around people who are careless. In recent months, it would appear that many people have died because others didn’t follow the social distancing and other precautionary protocols. It would also appear that many people have died as a result of the premature easing of safety protocols to return to “business as usual”.

Whatever you do with regard to the pandemic, remember that your actions affect not only you, but your mother and others that you come into contact with as well.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
