How’s it going today? I hope that all is well and that you’re feeling on top of the world!
So what does the week ahead look like for you? Do you typically plan it out or do you kind of play it day by day, as it comes?
I know that some people find planning to be tedious. At times, I have to admit that I have felt the same way. I guess you could look at planning as your road map that you will use to travel through your future. If we stop and think about it, doesn’t really make sense to begin a journey without a roadmap?
Have you ever had an experience where you didn’t plan ahead and weren’t prepared? I have. I’ve had more of those experiences than I care to reflect on and remember. Have you ever had an experience where you were prepared, but things still didn’t turn out as planned? Been there, done that!
Not planning ahead and being prepared does not guarantee that you will fail and not accomplish your goal. Also, planning ahead and being prepared doesn’t guarantee your success in any endeavor. What planning ahead does, however, is to increase your chances for success. With that in mind doesn’t make sense to prepare for success rather than hoping it will happen?
