How are you enjoying the New Year so far? That whole “fresh start” feeling of a New Year is always so exciting and invigorating, isn’t it? Things are great here and I hope that things are great there as well.
Happiness and Relationships: One thing I’ve learned in my years on the planet is that you can’t expect anyone else to make you happy. Happiness starts from within. From what I have observed you really can’t be happy with another person unless you are happy with yourself.
There are many types of people with whom you can form great relationships. There are also many types of people who can make a great relationship difficult or impossible. A few examples are people who have to always be right, constantly negative people, and people who lie. Like a drowning man who fights being saved, these types of people will bring you down with them.
I know that the tone of my letter today wasn’t particularly positive, but in life you must sometimes identify and avoid the negative in order to live in the positive.
