Hello there! I just finished a light jog and I’m feeling really refreshed. I hope that your day is going well and that you are looking forward to yet another amazing week.
It’s been a bit cooler here weather wise and that is very much a welcome relief. Our summers seem to be getting hotter and hotter. In fact, I heard, but have not verified that supposedly this is the hottest year worldwide in human history.
Do you find it very interesting when you see people on different sides of a particular claim? We can easily look at climate change, for instance, and see some people on the side of a hoax and some people on the side of the earth getting warmer. It would be interesting to look at the actual data and draw conclusions from that.
It’s interesting that in the past, back in the 70s that oil companies even published information that was confirming scientific information on climate change. Over the years, it appears that they have been sowing the seeds of climate change denial. This is quite similar to what the tobacco industry did to deny some of the absolute devastating effects of smoking tobacco.
When it comes to claims for or against, I believe we could find enlightenment by analyzing who benefits from one side of an argument or the other. Quite naturally, if the deniers of climate change being caused by fossil fuels Are actually people in the fossil fuel industry, then that makes perfect sense. Why? Because if they can get people to believe that fossil fuels play no part in climate change, then it would seem that it would ultimately protect their bottom line or even improve it.
We have often heard the term, “follow the money.” It has been said that if you follow the money you find the motive.
