My Letters To My Son

Dad

Hello Son,

Hello Son,

Here we are once again at the start of yet another amazing week. I hope that you had a great weekend and that you thoroughly enjoyed doing something fun and interesting.

Yeah, I know that I sometimes sound like a broken record when I speak about the amazing week to come. If you stop and think about it, isn’t it better to approach your week with energy and enthusiasm? We could just as easily dread the heck out of the upcoming Monday and the week that lies ahead. Many people do exactly that. Do you know what happens to people with that mindset? That lousy Monday and week of dullness and drudgery that they anticipated actually becomes a happens the way they had played it out in their minds. In other words, it became a self-fulfilling prophecy!

So what happens when you anticipate an amazing week? That can become a self-fulfilling prophecy as well. As Louis Pasteur said, “Chance favors the prepared mind.” By anticipating and planning for an amazing week, you automatically increase your chances of having an amazing week.
Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day!

Love,

Dad
