How Are You Today Son?

August 19, 2019 By Dad Leave a Comment

How Are You Today Son,

I hope all is well there today and that you are off to a great start for a great week ahead!

Did you get a chance to hang out with family and/or friends over the weekend? Friends are very important in your life and friendships in general are highly underrated.

One of the biggest regrets expressed by people on their deathbeds is that they wish they would’ve stayed in touch with their friends and nurtured their friendships. Sure, as people say, “life gets in the way”, and it can certainly be a challenge to stay in touch with friends.

The concept of friendship can be a tricky one at times. When you’re really young, it seems that everyone you meet in your age bracket is your friend. As you get older, you realize that most people you meet will be acquaintances rather than friends.

An acquaintance is someone you can hang out and have fun with and share mutual interests with. The hallmark of a friend is that a friend to someone you can depend on. One thing is for sure, there simply are not too many people that you can depend on in life.

Let’s chat about this more next week.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
