My Letters To My Son

Letters

Bonjour Son

July 24, 2017 By Dad Leave a Comment

Bonjour Son,

I hope that you had a great weekend and that you are looking forward to the wonderful week ahead.

I often hear people say that the older you get the faster time seem to pass. I have also heard that some older people look back and wonder where all the time has gone. I can certainly see how people can feel that way and I have felt that way myself at times.

I think that some of us may measure our lives by how much we have accumulated or accomplished.  If we don’t feel that we have accumulated or accomplished enough, then we may feel that we have wasted way too much time not pursuing our goals. We may even compare ourselves to others that we feel have accomplished more than we have.

We shouldn’t compare ourselves to others and feel unfulfilled. We should view those who have accomplished great things as tremendous sources of inspiration and motivation and examples of what is possible. If we adopt this mindset, then we increase our chances of accomplishing great things and becoming a source of inspiration and motivation for others.

Well, that’s all for now!

Have an amazing day and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,

Dad
